Puy du Fou – Connected swords

That observation is the foundation of every Chronix® technology. We have developed more than 10 products around synchronisation for the events industry, always with the aim of deepening immersion and helping emotion to take hold.

At the Puy du Fou, in the Gallo-Roman Stadium, the issue that brought us in was that the central sound system is very powerful and largely drowns out the natural sounds of the sword fights. We therefore decided to build one of our products into the Puy du Fou swords, in order to trigger recorded sounds in real time.

The point is to pick up the impacts and play back the sounds of the blows, and to reinforce the theatrical intentions: a genuine revolution that puts technology at the service of emotion.
