Immersive trail

An immersive trail that reveals itself step by step.

The perfect opportunity for us to express ourselves across a coherent whole, combining all our technologies and know-how: interactive, immersive and contemplative scenes, along the thread of a narrative written for your venue.

Visitors wander through and every step reveals a tableau — drawing them into a world, whether Halloween, Christmas or a bespoke theme. Chronix designs, produces and runs the trail, from the initial intention to the finished result, in part or in full.

The technologies

All our technologies, brought together.

An immersive trail draws on the whole of our know-how — every technology serving the narrative. Here are the ones we combine most often.

Architectural lighting

LED tubes, light flowers, hexagons, tunnels and geometries: each station has its own visual identity and its own narrative moment.

Architectural lighting

Video mapping

Scripted projection onto façades, monuments and sets: the stone comes alive and tells a story.

Video mapping

Hyper-interactivity

Presence sensors: the station awakens as the visitor passes. Electronics and show control developed in house.

Our R&D

Pyrotechnics & special effects

Braziers, flames, haze, smoke: heat and matter thicken the atmosphere of the trail.

Pyrotechnics

Sound & scenography

A soundtrack synchronised to the stations and an overall dramaturgy: the visitor lives a story, not a decor.

How it works

A trail in 4 steps

01

Site survey

Visit of the site, survey of the possible natural paths for the visitor, identification of the site's strong points (avenues, trees, walls, perspectives).

02

Composition & script

Choice of the routes and stopping points, dramaturgy, layout plan, mood board. Several proposals depending on your venue, your budget and your intention.

03

Production & installation

Preparation in the workshop, meetings with our teams, on-site assembly, testing of the full trail, briefing of the front-of-house staff.

04

Operation & maintenance

Our team is present for the duration of the event, making adjustments and replacing equipment if needed. Dismantling and full removal at the end.

Case study

Creating an immersive trail

An example of a scenographic trail across an estate, on a Halloween theme: the set, the routes, then the scenes, zone by zone.

Example trail · 13 outdoor scenes

The visitor lives a story.

Long ago, the lord of Neufvy stole the sacred talisman of Osiris: for this sacrilege, the ancient gods cursed his estate and his entire lineage.

Every Halloween night, the park and the château awaken, peopled by the damned — a gravedigger, sorcerers, revenants, a cursed Egyptian temple — while the heirs attempt, through black masses, exorcisms and sacrifices, to break the eternal curse.

You make your way along a trail that will put you to the test.
