L’Aronde Enchantée is a creation entirely by Chronix®, drawing on the enchanted imagery of nature. The client asked us to showcase this natural site on the Voie Verte greenway, with the evening staged as its official opening.
At first we pictured a simple architectural lighting scheme. But after some thought, and a few more site visits, the place opened up new avenues that changed our angle completely: we would create a miniature sound & light show to showcase the site, while evoking the shared imagery of natural enchantment.
And that suited us well, because at Chronix® we have plenty of options… So we designed DMX owls, frogs and water lilies to go with our digital flowers and light garlands.
Machining, laser cutting, electronics, wiring, bonding… A whole technical and artistic process to reach a result that went beyond what we had imagined.
The video cannot capture every detail, but we hope to adapt this creation to other events and venues soon.
